The Aqua Pro Acid assists with balancing the pH and Total Alkalinity levels of your pool water, this muriatic acid kills mould, removes rust stains, gets rid of calcium deposits, and cleans the surfaces of your pool.
How to Add Acid to your poo in order to reduce pH? (based on a 50 000 litre pool):
1. The Pool Team recommends only adding 250ml of Aqua Pro Acid per dose. It is important to test the water after each dose to determine if another dose is necessary.
2. Always remember to get the basics right first: Test the water; clean out the weir and pump baskets; backwash and rinse. This is to ensure that you obtain the best results from the products added.
3. Dilute 250ml of Aqua Pro Acid into a bucket of water
4. Pour the diluted acid through the weir with the system on bypass/circulate.
5. Ensure that the pool is on circulate for at least 3 hours in order for the acid to fully circulate through the pool. Re-test the pH after 3 hours and if it is still high, repeat the process.
