Chemicals for the Holidays

Chemicals for the Holidays

Holidays are around the corner and it’s time to light up the braai, relax and spend quality time with the kids by the pool. That’s what holidays are all about!

However, with the extra bather load in the pool over the holidays, it might be harder to keep the pool sparkling blue. The Pool Team has the solution!

Now is the time to stock up on Chemicals!

With a high bather load it is imperative to keep the water sanitised and free of algae. Green algae can often infest the entire pool over night or in a matter of hours, especially after very hot days or when there is not enough sanitiser in the water. To prevent this from happening, we recommend stocking up on the following chemicals:

  • The Aqua Pro Algaecide is designed not only to kill, but also to prevent algae growth in a pool.
  • Aqua Pro Chlorine should be used on a regular basis to keep the water sanitised and safe to swim in.
  • Test strips can be used weekly to ensure that the following is in balance: pH, Free Chlorine, Total Alkalinity and Stabiliser.
  • Aqua Pro Gel cubes can be added straight into the weir basket to keep your pool sparkling blue. One gel cube lasts approximately two weeks.

To make this even easier, all these products come packaged together in the Aqua Care Kit! One Aqua Care Kit is designed to treat a 50 000 litre pool over 1 month, so remember to purchase the quantity needed to suit the size of your pool.

Going away for the holidays and worried about the pool? Shock your pool with The Pool Team’s 3 Step Program. The 3 Step Program consists of Aqua Pro Oxidiser, Aqua Pro Algaecide and Aqua Pro Clarifier. In addition, add an Aqua Pro 5 in 1 floater to maintain the pool’s sanitation.

Purchase your Aqua Care Kit, 3 Step Shock Treatment and 5 in 1 floater online or head to your nearest store to purchase all the chemicals needed to maintain your pool like a pro all summer long!
