IMPORTANT:
In the event of a fault occurring covered by this warranty, the purchaser must, in the first instance, contact the installer.
The Aqua Pro Heat Pumps carry a 1 Year (12 Months) manufacturing defects warranty.
The warranty covers all components / parts including the compressor from date of purchase.
A machine that is “Dead on Arrival” i.e. it has not been connected or installed because it for example has no gas, will be replaced.
COURIER / TRANSPORTER DAMAGE IS NOT COVERED.
Please note that a new machine will not be exchanged once the machine has been installed. Any faults on the machine will be repaired.
No claim in pursuance of this warranty will be recognised unless received by The Pool Team during the warranty period.
The warranty is not transferable.
Electronic equipment / components on the Heat Pump will not be covered under warranty if a surge protector or voltage protector in not installed on the main DB Board or on the unit itself and must be installed by a qualified electrician.
We recommend that your Heat Pump be covered by your homeowners / personal insurance.

The Pool Team does not warrant that these heat pumps are compatible to be used in accordance; or in conjunction with a solar and/or inverter renewable electricity/energy source. Using this heat pump with solar and/or an inverter is done so solely at the customers discretion and a qualified electrician should be consulted with to determine the compatibility.

If in the opinion of The Pool Team, the equipment has been subjected to other than normal use or has been improperly serviced or maintained.
Not grounding and/or bonding as specified, miss-wiring, loose wiring, cut or kinked wires, loose cable connections, incorrect wire runs, incorrect breaker size, breaker(s) in “off” position, improper wire gauge, moisture in electrical conduit, improper electrical supply, dead batteries, incorrect plumbing, inadequate size of pipe and/or fittings, cross-threading, over-tightening, under-tightening glue drips or residue, improperly secured covers, improper valve placement or usage, unsynchronized valve actuators, valve actuators in “off” position, inadequate heater vent pipe sizing, programming errors, or removal of In-line filter screens from pool cleaners.
Freezing, corrosion, cracking, overheating, warping, flooding, moisture intrusionor any other condition caused by or related to weather, climate, improper winterization, improper equipment placement, inadequate ventilation, inadequate water circulation, roof run-off, sprinklers, irrigation systems, lights, or other products on or near the pool/spa or pool/spa equipment set up.
Operating the product at water flow rates below minimum, or above maximum, specifications. Operating any product or piece of equipment including, but not limited to, pumps, with insufficient quantities of waste.
Dirty, clogged, blocked, covered, or obstructed plumbing, pool cleaner parts, chlorine generator cells or sensors, pump strainer baskets, pump impellers, heater orifices (including blockage by spider webs), heater grills, doors, flute boxes, flute vents or flute collectors, filter elements, or filter breather tubes.
Filtration equipment and circulating pumps are installed in-line before the heat pump. Chemical additives and chlorine generating equipment are installed in-line after the heat pump.
The heat pump was designed to be used with swimming pool or spa pool water which should be chemically balanced. The water should have a pH of 7.2 to 7.6 that is regularly treated with a sanitising system using chlorine, either added in compound or granular form or generated by a salt water chlorinator. Should other chemical treatment systems be used, The Pool Team will not be responsible for damage done by corrosion, scaling, and stress cracking of the equipment.
The Pool Team reserves the right to request proof of installer’s certificates and electrical compliance for any warranty claim.
Any lapse regarding implementations of the above procedures will immediately render the warranty null and void.
The Pool Team accepts no responsibility for loss, damage or injury to persons or property arising from warranty failures of equipment.
