Continued use of pool acid breaks down the swimming pools total alkalinity levels. The Aqua Pro Alkalinity Booster stabilises your pool’s pH preventing extreme shifts in your pH levels and allows for enhanced swimming comfort. Regular pH testing is required to maintain an effective water balance.
Recommended alkalinity levels vary in the different pool finishes:
• Marbelite pools: 80 -120 parts per million (ppm)
• Fibreglass vinyl or painted pools: 125 – 150 parts per million (ppm)
In a 50 000 litre pool 1kg of Aqua Pro Alkalinity Booster will raise total alkalinity levels by 10 parts per million (ppm). For best results dispense Aqua Pro Alkalinity Booster over the surface of your swimming pool leaving the filter running. Wait between 6-12 hours before swimming.
