as it allows for far greater flexibility on when swimming can be done.
One of the main reasons that you will want to keep your pool well lit is
safety. Not only does it drastically decrease the chances of accidents or
people falling in unexpectedly, it also allows you greater visibility to see
what is happening in your pool in case somebody needs assistance.
A great secondary reason to install pool lights is to help set the tone for
the area, a well-lit pool can have a major impact on the general feel of a

An important question you will need to ask yourself is how many lights are
needed for your pool. Obviously this will depend greatly on the size of the
pool but there are some general guidelines to help you figure this out. If
your pool is 4.5m x 9m you should only need one in order to effectively
light your pool, as your pool increases in size this ratio can be
effectively used to determine how many lights you may need.
It is also important to ensure that you are installing it at the correct
depth in your pool to ensure that your pool is well lit. Unless your pool is
extremely deep then a good measurement is between 12 and 30 centimetres
below the waterline.
